I'm not saying that COD is a bad game, it is just that the multi-player is flawed and can be very frustrating. Weak guns. I will elaborate. 3. In some games you and your squad will be re-spawned in predictable locations over and over again so you can get massacred for most of the game. The timing of the game is off sometimes.

Multi-player, however, is a big disappointment. Very annoying. 2. Not fun. For God's sakes, if you are going to throw me into match that is almost over, why make me wait 12 more seconds to appear. It has really stupid spawning points.

7. 10. You can be prone and waiting for another player to come through the door, but inexplicably he will appear and get the first shot. The game will penalize you for exiting early. While pretty realistic looking, it gets old real quick. This game is great in solo and co-op modes. 8. When trying to join a game, you will sometimes be thrust in the middle of an already existing game.

All too often, just in time for the match to end. 6. The game constantly puts you so far away from an objective, that you spend 60% of your time running to get somewhere. The cons are too many to ignore.

I've been booted from games for no reason having not killed a single of my team's other players. Booting a player is often abused. You will often spawn only to get gunned down immediately and then have to wait another 10-12 seconds to re-appear. Why should I be penalized for leaving a game early with a bad connection. Artillery barages get old real quick.

5.

How is it that I can shoot guy 4-5 times with a machine gun, but he survives.

Why make me spend so much time running to get anywhere.

1.

The re-spawn delay is a joke.

Where is the fun in that.

Some MP games, require you wait 10-12 second delay before joining/re-spawning.

4.

We had to adjust the lightness quite a bit to be able to see well. The graphics are realistic and good--kind of hard to see though, on our little TV. It is still a lot of fun.

He and his friends enjoy playing online quite a bit. I'm not nearly as good as he is and it is hard for me to react and remember which buttons to push. My fourteen year old son has the PS3 version of this game and loves it.

As a result.I'm usually dead within minutes. But, with practice, I'm sure I'll get better. Still, this is a fun game and has provided hours of entertainment so far. In fact, it's almost an everyday ritual.

I've played it with him several times.

I liked the mission part of this game, but as great as the multiplayer could be,activision screwed it up when they purchased Demonware to oversee their multiplayer,it becomes apparent when more then 20,000 players are on line, not using a dedicted server you as a players suffers through lag,hit dedication, and just plain game connectivity issues, what i mean most times you have to unload an entire clip of ammo into someone to kill them, and all they have to do is shoot you once or twice to kill you, this is a company making millions of dollars between game and map pack sales to afford dedicated servers and they choose the cheap way out with this Demonware peer to peer crap, that said purchase at your own risk, activision does not care about their customers.

I have been a fan of the series since the first COD and welcome any addition to the franchise, but I was left feeling quite empty after working through this. The online added some more value to this, but not enough to warrant any more than 3 stars.Go for COD: Modern Warfare - In my opinion this is a much more accomplished shooter, with greater longevity. This had some good moments, and some solid gameplay, but it felt very much 'unfinished' overall.
